You can edit economy_data.sii ( a text file in the game files) to alter your total sleeping time AND total driving time to your liking but this is done as a mod, which means during the game it cannot be edited. You need to do it before you start the game. You can turn off fatigue simulation in Game Options.
You have to press F7 (Default key) and call Assistance Service, they'll pick you up and move your truck in a nearby town for a fee, usually ~500 Euro. Re: Console command for fatigue? If you decide to use the fatigue simulation system you can only sleep in the places marked on map. But if you want to simulate real life work hours, you must disable it and use the console to advance the time as needed as Tarso already mentioned.

I've been pllaying this game for a while now and it's so annoying when you have no time left to sleep and there are just no parking lots around. I am looking for a mod that allows you to pull over on the side of the highway/street and sleep, and before any of you say you can't do that in real life, I am aware of that. I just want a mod that allows me to sleep anywhere.
